The Galperti Group is established with manufacturing plants, service centres and warehouse facilities worldwide.

Officine Galperti was founded in 1921 in Bellano, Italy, and during the early years of activity in the old works, produced agricultural implements and drop forged parts for the railway infrastructure. With the advent of the chemical and petrochemical industries in the 1950’s production diversified with the introduction of forged flanges and the original production lines were abandoned.

The increase in production gave rise to a need for more space and so to guarantee future development the operation was transferred to Dervio. The increase in manufacturing capacity and the use of ever more sophisticated materials has required constant technological development and consequently there has been ongoing investment in the forging plant and machine shop. Production lines are constantly being updated with new technology being introduced. Further developments occurred at the beginning of the 90’s with the transfer of the main offices, machine shop, raw material stocking, shipping department and the metallurgical laboratory to the new purpose built facility at Gera Lario. In addition new engineering products were added to the product range and these are engineered and manufactured at a new facility in Colico. Full product approval from all off the major oil and gas companies obtained, and Galperti fully meet the standard of all major international institutes proving the high quality level of the products.

In parallel with these developments Galperti has further developed their manufacturing facilities and created a comprehensive network of outlets on a worldwide scale. Already in 1983 Galperti decided to enter the market also as a distributor by establishing LFF, London Fittings & Flanges. After establishing in Great Britain, Galperti turned to Scandinavia – and in 1991 SFF, Scandinavian Fittings & Flanges was established.

Since the significant increase and development of distributors, the Galperti group is now one of the largest global players in this market.
