THE SFF GROUP RECEIVES ISO 14001 CERTIFICATION

It is with great pride that we today announce that the SFF Group has been accredited with an ISO 14001 Certification. This achievement demonstrates the company’s commitment to environmental management and sustainable business practices.

The ISO 14001 is an internationally agreed upon standard that lays out the requirements for an environmental management system, thus aiding the organization in improving its environmental performance through – among other things – reduction of waste and emissions.

Excerpt from www.iso.org:

An environmental management system helps organizations identify, manage, monitor and control their environmental issues in a “holistic” manner.

It requires that an organization considers all environmental issues relevant to its operations, such as air pollution, water and sewage issues, waste management, soil contamination, climate change mitigation and adaptation, and resource use and efficiency.

Managing Director, Boye O. Christiansen, states that he is proud of the company’s achievement, and remarks that although working on ESG-related issues is not new to the SFF Group, it has been brought to a new level in recent years. He also states that the company made significant advancements while preparing for the ISO 140001 certification.

– We are of course very proud of this achievement and look forward to continually improving our organization’s work on environmental concerns. By raising awareness and implementing environmentally responsible practices, we continue our journey towards a more sustainable future.

The ISO Certification process was conducted by the third-party organization DNV. The certification is valid for all SFF Group companies.
